This coffee comes from Delmy Regalado - a true legend of Honduran Women’s coffee.
She is part of the same co-operative as Rosely Hernandez and I’ve worked with her in some capacity for over 10 years now. In a previous job I was the first person to put HER name on a bag of coffee too!
Delmy is the head of the International Women’s Coffee Association for Honduras, has two farms, runs a local processing centre, is part of the management of the co-operative and has 3 children too. She’s one of the busiest people I’ve ever met and a truly inspirational woman.
This mixed varietal natural process coffee is exactly how I like my naturals, sweet and fruity but not excessively funky or tropical - it’s a delight!
