A medium/light roast blend of washed and natural Latin American coffees designed for all day drinking. Medium-bodied with balanced sweetness and acidity and tasting notes of milk chocolate, hazelnut and Demerara sugar.
When I’m working, whether it’s at my desk or at my roaster, I want to have a mug of coffee on hand to keep me going through the day. It has to be bright enough to be interesting, but not too sharp. It has to be balanced, flavourful and sweet, but not sickly. It has to taste like coffee, but on a REALLY good day.
With Dagr, what I want to share with you is an easy-drinking all day coffee that will make a great pot of filter coffee to share with a couple of guests (along with the custard creams;) or a beautiful V60 for yourself as you put on some vinyl on Sunday morning and look out of the window at the rain.
This coffee is going to make a beautifully balanced espresso which will satisfy on its own, or will make a really tasty cappuccino or latte, provided you want it to be mild, mellow and creamy.
